Deborah Gaffney

An American film, television and stage actor born in Ohio and now living in Houston Texas. She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Edinboro University. She has been married since 1989, and has three children and two grandchildren, who are twin boys. She worked in Rehabilitation Counseling until moving to Texas in 1992. She has worked with her husband as the office manager in his specialty practice since 1995.
Once the family grew to college age, she returned to acting and singing. Deborah started out in the entertainment industry as a jazz singer and stage actress . She has recently played several roles in lndie Films and in local theatre. She has a production company, DGProductions through which she reaches out to other creatives to showcase them on her YouTube Channel. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and recently won a Member at Large Position on the Local Houston-Austin Board of Directors. She is a past Board of Directors member on the Women in Television-Houston, as well as being a past board member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. She has produced SWANDay Houston, and continues to work in the Statera Arts Mentorship Program designed to support women artists now.
