I am a native Houstonian! Born, Raised, Educated, Worked, and still live in Southeast Houston.
I taught in Houston Independent School District at Golfcrest Elementary for thirty-eight years and retired in 2002.
For the last twenty years since retiring, I have spent my time volunteering on various boards in the community. I am President of the Glenbrook Valley Civic Club and was responsible for establishing Glenbrook Valley as the only Historical District for Mid-Century Homes in Houston.
For 10+ years, I have been actively involved on the Board of the Hobby Area District.
I am on the board of the Houston Historical Architectural and Historic Commission.
I am also a lover of Animals!
